Have had spare tire mount carriers before and they weren't very sturdy and the bikes "swung". This is totally different. Mounts to the same mounting point as the spare tire itself and has additional tie-downs that extend down the frame to minimize "swinging". Works perfectly. Easy to install. Company shipped quickly and product arrived in good condition. Great transaction.
